Indoor beach Volleyball for dummies10:29:43 PMToday was our last regular season game of indoor beach volleyball. Once again we were on the losing side of the net, but again managed to have a good time. You know you're outmatched when your own team is just trying to get the ball over the net while the other team is calling positions for spikes and setting up everything for winners. The other team was really cool, though, and we mixed up the players from our teams, played another game for kicks and we all had a terrific time. I even managed to get in a few spikes.
Our post-season play is in Limbo for the time being, everyone is supposed to make it in for the first round, but we're the odd team out and with the worst record we may get dropped to balance the ladder...

End O' The SeasonYesterday marked the end of my stint as a beach volleyball player for the summer, and I have to say I'm really going to miss it.
What started out as me somewhat reluctantly agreeing to fill an empty spot on the team definitely changed to something I looked forward to. We lost a bunch of games but came out over .500 in the end, and we had a good run in the post-season, though we didn't take it all.
Not sure what I spent more time staring at, the beautiful girls on the beach, or the beautiful sunsets over the beach. Sometimes I did one (or both) during the game, which definitely didn't help my play. But how could you not enjoy the wonderful sights set before you? The world is a beautiful place in so many ways, when we can actually be bothered to stop and see it.
